What You’ll Learn

Course Prerequisites

  • Minimum age: 12 (12-14 may earn Junior Rescue Diver Certification).
  • Proof of current CPR, First Aid, and O2 provider certification.
  • Certification as a PADI Adventure Diver certification – must
    have completed the Underwater Navigation
    Adventure Dive.
  • Padi Medical Release form (Contact us for any issues or answers that might be Yes).

What’s Included

  • Semi-private classes (4-6 students max).
  • Boat fees included.
  • Air tank rentals.
  • Consistency with the same instructor throughout your course.

What’s Not Included

  • CPR, First Aid, & O2 Training (available separately).
  • Personal gear: Mask, fins, snorkel, boots, Surface Marker Buoy (SMB).
  • Scuba gear rentals: (BCD, regulator, wetsuit)—available for an additional fee.
  • Transportation to dive sites.
  • Books, E-Learning, or Crew Pack
  • Tips for crew, instructors, or dive masters.

Typical Class Schedule

  • At Home Before Class: Complete e-learning
  • Day 0: In-person orientation with ScubaJoey instructor.
  • Day 1: Training in a pool.
  • Day 2: Open Water Exercises and Rescue Scenarios.
  • Day 3: Open Water Exercises and Rescue Scenarios.
